In their latest gift to the nation's largest phone companies, the FCC on Friday, against the will of consumer advocates, is expected to stop gathering information from AT&T concerning service quality, customer satisfaction and infrastructure investment."

As everyone knows, the FCC Chairman leaves the post to get a job in the industry he regulated, whether he was put there by a Democratic president or a Republican. It seems clear that Martin will work for the phone companies if and when he leaves.
